GATEWAY
A “Gateway” programme allows students to gain NZQA credits while spending time at a work place.
Please note: Student numbers, staffing and timetable constraints may mean that some subjects may not be able to be offered in any one year, or may be offered through Distance Education.
Multi level courses are available.
Correspondence School, Open Polytechnic and STAR Courses may be available to selected students.
Waimate High School is a member of CantaNet, a group of secondary schools in Canterbury who share teachers via video conference. Additional subjects are available by video conference. This enables weekly contact with their teacher along with on-line support.
