Background Information

•  We moved to New Zealand in 2004, prior to that I taught at schools in Somerset, Wiltshire and Oldham. I originated from Alfreton, in Derbyshire, close to where many DH Lawrence novels were written – which is about as far from Waimate as you can get!

Current Professional/ and other interests

During 2007 I am a Ministry of Education e-fellow and am researching how Web2.0 tools can be used to facilitate co-constructive learning. I am fascinated by how internet technologies have the potential to transform teaching and learning. I am also interested in opensource software.
