Background Information

I have taught Music at Greymouth High School from 1997 until 2010. In addition I was Head of Arts from 1999 until 2009, and Acting Deputy Principal in 2010. 

Current Interests

My personal interests include Music, Fishing and Camping. My other main passion is being a member of the Waimate Volunteer Fire Brigade. I have also served with the Greymouth Volunteer Fire Brigade for four years before coming to Waimate.

Professional Interests

One of my main responsibilities here at Waimate High School is to oversee Curriculum. I am aiming to broaden the scope of my knowledge in all curriculum areas, as well as explore current and future alternative career pathways for students.

In addition, I hope to begin a Post Graduate qualification in Educational Management at some point in the near future.
